How to read this
- 5 — peak season, dry, high tourist visibility, book ahead.
- 4 — good. Reliable conditions, fewer crowds.
- 3 — shoulder. Variable; can be a great deal or a soggy disappointment.
- 2 — off-season. Activities limited, but accommodation cheap.
- 1 — heavy monsoon, avoid for that region.
