Why this site exists

Most Sri Lanka content online is either thin "20 things to do" listicles or tour-sales funnels disguised as guides. We took everything we learned across travel, planning, and on-the-ground reporting, and built the site we wished existed.

What we do differently

• Honest curation at scale. Every guide gives an opinion — what to do, what to skip, what's overhyped.
• Multi-audience structuring. We slice by traveler type — couples, families, surfers, wellness, luxury, backpackers — instead of locking into one persona.
• Interactive tools. A monsoon-by-region matrix, a scenic train comparator, a daily budget calculator, an ETA visa checker, and a trip-duration planner. None of them existed elsewhere.
• Annual freshness. Every page carries a date stamp. Prices, visa rules, and recommendations are reviewed each year.
• Geographic exhaustivity. 60 destinations from Jaffna to Arugam Bay, including Mannar, Knuckles, Wilpattu, Kalpitiya — places most blogs ignore.
